Kitchen

This is what we have been living with pretty much since I bought the house, broken tiles on the island. So the Seller was going pay for it, well I finally got the money from her the first of the year and so here is the work in progress. They wanted over $600 just to remove the old countertops.

Of course since I believe in slave labor (my kids) here we are saving that $600! I bought about $100 worth of tools and we set out to work. Mackey put her Uggs on and was ready to go:) She actually did most of the demolishing until Drex showed up the next day to help do all the HEAVY stuff. There are no pictures of him because I wasn't there to supervise that day.

Uggs are good for all my slaves! Megan had hers on too but she was taking the photos.

And here is the BEAUTIFUL after! I am loving it. It has actually forced me to clean out all my cupboards and drawers.

I'm still not quite finished with the backsplash but that will have to wait for another day. I would have loved to get new appliances, but maybe someday!
